As for Mona, this is her second time as she won in 2005 when she was only 11 years old.

  3. That was in Botswana. Mona Khaled and Bassem Amin. Thet whooped us badly, everyone actually. i still remember

  4. Botswana players, Mbakhwa Faith came 6th in the Girls Section with 5 points and Leso Gorata came 9th with 4.5 points
In the open section Olebile Thato came 12th with 4.5 points and Gumpo Thabo came 13th with 4.5 points also. The funny thing is that they both got 3 points from the Libyan players and three draws.

  5. I believe these are not real africa junior champs. if you have noticed, when the tournament is held in northen hemisphere very few southern countries travel and again vice verca. same with the africa championships. if they are held southern hemisphere then it is dominated by southern guys eg, gwaze, simutowe, chumfwa, kobese etc… and when its up obviously the ahdlys, basem, u name them… why cant africa hev a tournament that can pit all the champions? i shud think we hev to introduce an african championship probably once every two years and copy the soccer guys. it will promote chess
